A beginning.
It starts with a vision. Detailed drawings are created to start the process of bringing that vision to life. Through close consultation with the client ever aspect of the idea is covered to the clients satisfaction.
Feeling the way.
After the drawings are completed it is time to form the idea into reality by wax or water-based clay, both materials that the Greeks used, using techniques that differ little from ancient times.
Set in Stone.
The resulting sculpture is then cast in plaster of Paris to be meticulously copied, through traditional methods, into the stone, creating a ‘like for like’ of the clay original. Carving with traditional tools the finished products looks like its come from the past.
